Hi, I’m interested in the 10’x10′ Gambrel shed plan. Thanks for posting it. I’m a single mom in post-Irma Florida, and need a shed that will suit our needs (very dry storage/super-secret clubhouse in loft), yet hold together properly. Where might I find advice in regard to materials, extra precautions, and what a Floridian might use underneath the floor, please? After this last month, I’m thinking a slab…a *tall* slab…definitely something raised higher than the slab on my (now leaky) addition. 😉 LOL

Hi, and thank you for posting these plans.

I’m planning to build this 10×10 gambrel shed on nine or more deck blocks — one at each corner and others throughout the base — and I’d like to know if this means I can omit the 4×4 skids under the floor and have the floor rest directly on the blocks?

Thanks again and all the best.

Hi. I downloaded this and did NOT donate yet because I wanted to see what it was. I like this, but our local bi-law states that the total structure cannot be more than 11′ 9″ high.

I will need to modify the roof so that it has:

    1) no more than 11′ 5″ high
    2) includes a loft area where we can slide in spare material that can hold a 4X8 sheet of plywood and our extra wood stock.

Would you be able to do that ? Please contact me and we can also talk about donation.

    Thanks very much for this.

    Mark

I’d like to see the plans for making this a little shorter, too.

Sorry, I forgot to mention I don’t need the loft. I just lay things across the rafters.

The plywood for the truss gussets was left off the shopping list and the dimensions for the gussets is not shown. The dimensions are different from the barn shed as it uses 2×6 trusses and this shed uses 2×4 trusses. I plan on using metal panels for the roof instead of asphalt shingles.
