🔪 How to make a strawberry vodka co*cktail
- Clean and remove the stems of the strawberries and cut strawberries into quarters.
- Place the cut, clean strawberries into a mason jar. Be sure you have a clean lid and jar ring that will fit.
- Cover the strawberries with Vodka. I don't have an exact ratio but I am calling this a 1:1 ratio.
- Cover the strawberries with enough vodka until they start to float. Now the strawberries are going to start to release their color and flavor.
- After about 8 hours your strawberries have released all their yummy sweetness. You are welcome for this mixture to sit over night or even for a few days. It will just get more intense in flavor.
- Strain the berries, I strain the berries from the vodka using just a mesh strainer.
- Serve in your favorite strawberry co*cktail.
⏲️ How long should I let strawberries sit when I make this strawberry co*cktail?
After about 8 hours your strawberries have released all their yummy sweetness. You are welcome for this mixture to sit overnight or even for a few days. It will just get more intense in flavor. The vodka now has taken on a delightful rosy strawberry color.
📦 Storage tip for strawberry-infused vodka
I store my strawberry vodka in a closed mason jar and keep it in a cool dark place until it is co*cktail time!
I keep the saved soaked strawberries in a container in the refrigerator and add them as an ingredient in certain co*cktails.
Aside from this simple strawberry vodka recipe, what are other co*cktail recipes to try?
Consider trying a refreshing strawberry mojito. Muddle fresh summer strawberries in a glass, add an ice cube for a cool touch, and then mix in rum for a flavorful base.
This co*cktail not only provides a burst of flavor and color from the strawberries but also offers a delightful alternative to vodka-based drinks. Garnish aand serve the strawberry mojito!
What mixers go with this strawberry infused vodka
When you concoct strawberry infused vodka, it can be a versatile base for various mixed drinks, and there are several mixers that pair well with its fruity flavor. Here are some popular options:
- Lemonade: The tartness of lemonade complements the sweetness of strawberry vodka, creating a refreshing and balanced drink.
- Soda Water: Sparkling water or soda water can add a fizzy element to your drink without adding too much sweetness. You can also add a splash of simple syrup or a sweet soda if you prefer a sweeter taste.
- Ginger Ale or Ginger Beer: The spicy kick of ginger can add depth to the strawberry vodka, creating a flavorful and slightly spicy co*cktail.
- Cranberry Juice: Mixing strawberry vodka with cranberry juice can create a vibrant and slightly tart beverage. You can adjust the ratio to achieve your desired level of sweetness.
- Orange Juice: The citrusy notes of orange juice can complement the strawberry flavor and add a touch of brightness to your co*cktail.
- Iced Tea: A fruity iced tea, such as raspberry or hibiscus, can pair well with strawberry vodka, creating a unique and flavorful combination.
- Club Soda: For a lighter option, you can mix strawberry vodka with plain club soda and add a squeeze of lime for a simple, low-calorie co*cktail.
- Coconut Water: If you enjoy tropical flavors, mixing strawberry vodka with coconut water can create a light and tropical drink.
- Mint and Lime: Muddling fresh mint and adding a splash of lime juice can enhance the freshness of your strawberry vodka co*cktail.
- Tonic Water: Tonic water can add a slightly bitter and effervescent element to your drink, creating a more complex flavor profile.
How to make strawberry infuse vodka recipe using lemonade?
Ever wondered how to make strawberry lemonade vodka with just a couple of ingredients?

Certainly! Just ensure that the chosen liqueur complements the natural sweetness of the strawberries.
📝 Frequently asked questions, answers and tips:
Should you strain the strawberries out of the strawberry vodka?
I sieve the berries from the vodka using just a mesh strainer. The seeds and bits of strawberry will still be in the vodka with this method. If you prefer a clean liquid, you are going to want to strain through several layers of fine cheesecloth. Or use a coffee filter.
I prefer the seeds and strawberry bits. It reminds me that this is vodka was made with REAL strawberries.
Do you need to heat the vodka to infuse it?
